What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

The genre of our film is one similar to Holyoaks, however our relates to teenagers of the age attending sixthform. Our prelim is on a relationship however the genre is not romantic. I feel our prelim could be distributed by companys who deal with soaps such as Eastenders or producers of Hollyoaks, the reason for this is because there is not a great variety of shows targeted to Teenagers aged 16-18 and our prelim which looked specifically at relationships could potentially work in this scarce market. I do not think there would be a charge on our product unless released on DVD if it became successful and much longer ofcourse. The best possible solution to financing would have to be sponsorship and perhaps even advertisment space.
